Shipping & Delivery
    1. LockJaw offers a wide range of courier options of delivery of Goods to you. You may elect delivery the most popular:
      1. courier;
    2. Please see details of our delivery and shipping terms and conditions in our FAQ’s: Shipping and Delivery, which are incorporated by reference.
    3. Where it accepts your order, LockJaw or the Third Party Seller will deliver the Goods to you as soon as reasonably possible, but no later than 30 (thirty) days of receipt of your payment (“Delivery Period”). We will notify you if we are unable to deliver the Goods during the Delivery Period. You may then, within 7 (seven) days of receiving such notification elect whether or not to cancel your order for the Goods. If you elect to cancel your order, we will reimburse you for the purchase price.
  1. Errors
    We shall take all reasonable efforts to accurately reflect the description, availability, purchase price and delivery charges of Goods on the Website. However, should there be any errors of whatsoever nature on the Website (which are not due to our gross negligence), we shall not be liable for any loss, claim or expense relating to a transaction based on any error, save – in the case of any incorrect purchase price – to the extent of refunding you for any amount already paid, or otherwise as set out in the Exchanges & Returns Policy.

Whilst we will do all things reasonably necessary to protect your rights of privacy, we cannot guarantee or accept any liability whatsoever for unauthorised or unlawful disclosures of your personal information, whilst in our possession, made by third parties who are not subject to our control, unless such disclosure is as a result of our gross negligence.
  13. If you disclose your personal information to a third party, such as an entity which operates a website linked to this Website or anyone other than LockJaw , LOCKJAW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, HOWSOEVER ARISING, SUFFERED BY YOU AS A RESULT OF THE DISCLOSURE OF SUCH INFORMATION TO THE THIRD PARTY. This is because we do not regulate or control how that third party uses your personal information. You should always ensure that you read the privacy policy of any third party.
Returns & Replacements
  1. Returns
    1. Please refer to our Exchanges & Returns Policy for more information about cancelling orders after delivery, and about returns (and related refunds, replacements or repairs).  The Exchanges & Returns Policy is incorporated by reference (which means that it forms part of these Terms and Conditions).
  2. Registration and use of the website
    1. Only registered users may order Goods on the Website.
    2. To register as a user, you must provide a unique username and password and provide certain information and personal details to LockJaw. You will need to use your unique username and password to access the Website in order to purchase Goods.
    3. You agree and warrant that your username and password shall:
      1. be used for personal use only; and
      2. not be disclosed by you to any third party.
    4. For security purposes you agree to enter the correct username and password whenever ordering Goods, failing which you will be denied access.
    5. You agree that, once the correct username and password relating to your account have been entered, irrespective of whether the use of the username and password is unauthorised or fraudulent, you will be liable for payment of such order, save where the order is cancelled by you in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
    6. You agree to notify LockJaw immediately upon becoming aware of or reasonably suspecting any unauthorised access to or use of your username and password and to take steps to mitigate any resultant loss or harm.
    7. By using the Website you warrant that you are 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and of full legal capacity. If you are under the age of 18 (eighteen) or if you are not legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement, then you may use the Website only with the involvement and supervision of your parent or legal guardian. If your parent or legal guardian supervises you and gives his/her consent, then such person agrees to be bound to these Terms and Conditions and to be liable and responsible for you and all your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
    8. You agree that you will not in any way use any device, software or other instrument to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Website. In addition, you agree that you will not in any way use any robot, spider, other automatic device, or manual process to monitor, copy, distribute or modify the Website or the information contained herein, without the prior written consent from an authorised Company representative (such consent is deemed given for standard search engine technology employed by Internet search websites to direct Internet users to this Website).
    9. You may not use the Website to distribute material which is defamatory, offensive, contains or amounts to hate speech or is otherwise unlawful.
    10. You may not in any way display, publish, copy, print, post or otherwise use the Website and/or the information contained therein without the express prior written consent of an authorised Company representative.
Exchange & Returns

Free exchanges & returns for 30 days

You can exchange or return your purchase within 30 days of delivery, completely free of charge. We even pay for the return shipping! We want to make your online shopping experience hassle-free and fun. Please see below for products excluded from this policy.

To return an unwanted non-defective product, it must be:

  1. Returned within 30 days of the product(s) being delivered
  2. Undamaged and unused, with the original labels still attached
  3. In the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition

Once we have received your return product and it has been cleared by LockJaw Quality, your account will be credited, unless you requested a replacement or an exchange.

Exchanges

Products can be exchanged for a different size or colour of the same product, provided that the preferred size or colour is available. This option is available within 30 days of delivery and is only available for apparel, sportswear and shoes that have a size or colour variation.
If your preferred size or colour is not available, or you want a different product, please return the unwanted product and place a new order.

It’s important that any unwanted product, unless faulty, is returned in a re-saleable condition. We’d expect this to mean that you’ve kept all original packaging and labels, and that the product is undamaged and unused. Extra care must be taken when trying on clothing; please ensure you are not wearing any make up, fragrance or deodorant that may leave a mark or scent.
We reserve the right to refuse a return or an exchange if products are returned damaged, or not in a saleable condition.

2: Returning products that are not what you ordered

If an incorrect product is delivered to you by mistake (i.e. it’s not the product you ordered), we’ll arrange to collect the product from you, and we’ll deliver the correct product to you as quickly as possible.
Please don’t remove the product from its original packaging. Simply contact our customer service team on 0861 222 989 or email support@LockJaw.co.za to notify us, and we’ll take care of the rest.

3: Returning defective or damaged products

We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of a high quality. If you’ve received a product with a defect or fault, we’ll gladly replace the exact product at no additional cost to you. Where a replacement product is not available, your account will be credited.

Our 7-day drop-and-collect replacement promise entitles you to an immediate replacement of a damaged or defective product if the return is logged within 7 days of receipt. This means that for your convenience, our courier will collect the defective product whilst delivering your replacement. Please bear in mind that this might not be available for all products.

Our 6-month replacement warranty entitles you to have your product replaced at LockJaw’s expense if the product is found to be defective or faulty, or unsuitable for the purpose generally intended.

If the product is found NOT to be defective or damaged, you will NOT be entitled to any replacement or credit, but will instead be liable for the costs incurred in having such a product returned to LockJaw, and then redelivered to you.

The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will NOT entitle you to any replacement or credit under the above 7-day drop-and-collect replacement promise, or the 6-month replacement warranty: faults resulting from normal wear and tear; damage arising from incorrect usage of the product.

Certain products may come with a supplier’s warranty in excess of LockJaw’s 6-month replacement warranty. If so, this will be stated in the product listing on the site. If the product you received is found to be damaged or defective, and it is within the supplier warranty period, we’ll replace the product at our expense, or process an account credit if a replacement product is not available.

4: Non-returnable products

We can’t offer exchanges, replacements or account credits on the following products, unless they are faulty or not as described:

  • Cosmetics and fragrances where the original packaging has been opened, or where the seal has been broken.
  • Media products (including DVDs, CDs, video games and software) where the original plastic wrapping has been opened.
  • Underwear where the original wrapping has been opened.
  • Swimwear where the hygiene strip has been removed.
  • Pierced earrings and other pierced body jewellery where the original wrapping has been opened.
  • Products which have been personalised for you or made to your specifications.
  • eBooks

This policy does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed products.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions
  1. We are committed to providing secure online payment facilities. All transactions are encrypted using appropriate encryption technology.
  2. Whether the Goods are for sale by LockJawor a Third Party Seller, payment can be made for Goods via -
    1. debit card;
    2. credit card: where payment is made by credit card, we may require additional information in order to authorise and/or verify the validity of payment. In such cases we reserve the right to withhold delivery until such time as the additional information is received by us and authorisation is obtained by us for the amounts. If we do not receive authorisation your order for the Goods will be cancelled. You warrant that you are fully authorised to use the credit card supplied for purposes of paying the Goods. You also warrant that your credit card has sufficient available funds to cover all the costs incurred as a result of the services used on the Website;
    3. direct bank deposit or electronic funds transfer: if you pay via direct bank deposit or electronic funds transfer, payment must be made within 5 (five) days of placing your order. LockJaw will not accept your order if payment has not been received;
    4. Instant EFT;
    5. cash on delivery;
    6. eBucks;
    7. Discovery Miles;
    8. MasterPass;
    9. SBux; and
    10. cheque deposits: cheque deposits may be made by prior arrangement with LockJaw. LockJaw will not accept your order if notification of clearance of the cheque deposit has not been received.

Termination
  1. We will use reasonable endeavours to maintain the availability of the Website, except during scheduled maintenance periods, and reserve the right to discontinue providing the Website or any part thereof with or without notice to you.
  2. Lockjaw may in its sole discretion terminate, suspend and modify this Website, with or without notice to you. You agree that SYDN will not be liable to you in the event that it chooses to suspend, modify or terminate this Website other than for processing any orders made by you prior to such time and to the extent possible.
  3. If you fail to comply with your obligations under these Terms and Conditions, including any incident involving payment of the price of an order for any Goods, and you fail to remedy such failure within 7 (seven) days of notice to you by us, this may (in our sole discretion) lead to a suspension of your access to the Website without any prejudice to any claims for damages or otherwise that we may have against you.
